Position Summary | The Office of the Vice President for Research(OVPR) is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, results-driven, proactiveand resourceful individual to join our team as an Executive Assistant. The mission of the Office of the Vice President forResearch (OVPR) is to advance innovation and discovery. The core of thismission is the research, scholarship, and creative works of UNM faculty. TheOVPR seeks to facilitate these activities, resulting in new knowledge andapplications of value to academic communities and the public. The selected individual will:
The ideal candidate will possess outstandingcommunication skills (both written and verbal), have demonstratedproblem-solving ability, display strong organizational and prioritizationskills, and will work closely with other members of the OVPR team toprofessionally represent the OVPR to internal and external constituencies. Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of experience managing at least one of the following functional areas: fiscal services, administration and/or human resources AND 3 years of additional experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
