Requisition IDreq27751Working TitleCoord,Special ActivitiesPosition Grade08Position SummaryFacilities Maintenance (FM) Special Activities is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our team as Coord,Special Activities. This position requires a dynamic individual who can operate in a fast paced, ever changing environment. As the successful candidate, you would act as the lead in the field for departmental moves, events and other tasks. Your primary responsibilities would include support of campus events, coordination of equipment moves, and interaction with customers. Conditions of Employment
  • Possession of a valid New Mexico driver's license is a requirement for this job.
  • Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.
  • Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.
  • Ability to work outside of normal working hours as needed.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Organizing and coordinating skills.
  • Ability to lead and train staff
  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of event and event support
  • General knowledge of coordinating moves.
