Join our pack! The Provost's Office of the University of Indianapolis is seeking applicants for an administrative assistant position.This is a full-time, non-exempt position. This position provides administrative support to the Associate Provost and the Director of Assessment, and to the university curriculum committees.

Responsibilities- Administrative Assistant Provost's Office

  • Responsibilities include support for university-wide processes and practices.
  • Responsibilities include supporting university curriculum committees scheduling meetings, receiving proposals and preparing agendas, attending meetings and recording and preparing minutes for distribution and posting on MyUIndy.
  • Supporting the faculty qualifications process by maintaining records and facilitating audits.
  • Supporting accreditation document preparation and accreditation tracking.
  • Supporting the administrative needs of the Associate Provost and the Director of Assessment.
  • Serve as receptionist for the President/Provost/CFO suite.
  • Work closely with, and provide backup support to, the Administrative Manager/Senior Executive Assistant for the office of the Provost.

Qualifications- Administrative Assistant Provost's Office

  • A minimum of three years of administrative experience required or the completion of a college degree may substitute for administrative experience.
  • High school diploma required; some college preferred
  • Licensed Indiana Notary Public preferred
