CRITICAL CARE PHYSICIAN

The Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the University of Connecticut is seeking applications from outstanding board certified Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians. Appointment will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will attend in the medical intensive care unit (MICU) of the John Dempsey Hospital and will share responsibility for the inpatient pulmonary consultation service with other members of the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. The individual will see outpatients with pulmonary disorders in the Pulmonary Medicine office practice. The individual will play an active role in teaching medical students, residents and fellows who rotate through the MICU and the pulmonary inpatient and outpatient services.

The minimum qualifications are a MD/DO degree (or its equivalent), board certification in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine and a valid Connecticut medical license.
