Department OverviewAs a security first organization, Technology Delivery Services (TDS) is part of the Information Technology (IT) Department. The TDS teams include Information Security, Planning (architecture and PMO), Application Development, Financial Applications, HR & Payroll Development, Infrastructure, and Client Services teams. We maintain an innovative, inclusive, and supportive work environment.Position SummaryThe Senior Integration Engineer specializes in Mulesoft development. The role works with resources in UCOP, IT, UC campuses, and implementation partner to implement endowment ledger. Mulesoft expert applies advanced systems and software integration concepts, and location or institutional objectives, to resolve highly complex issues where analysis of systems and software requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors to resolve and implement medium to large projects of broad scope and complexity. Regularly resolves highly complex business processes, system functionality, implementation issues and system and software integration issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Selects tools, methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results. Key Responsibilities
20% Plans, designs and implements integration enhancements on existing Financial system flows for various Financial applications on Anypoint Platform. Specifically provides support on eledger and DPR integrations with various boundary systems such as Pension Administration system, Payroll, Cashnet etc.
20% Identifies and implements robust monitoring and operational process setup for the MuleSoft integrations supporting Oracle FIS platform. Participates in establishing and enhancing the business and operational processes for timely turnaround especially during month end and year end activity.
20% Mentors and leads projects working with mid-level to junior engineers on implementing best practices in code development and production issues. Trains junior team members on best coding practices using Mule with no performance degradation.
20% Collaborates with business partners and helps define metrics, KPIs to increase operational efficiencies. Adheres and participates in SLA, metric & KPI definition as a senior Mulesoft operational support team member.
20% Maintains Operational runbook. Actively participates in roadmap planning and suggesting year over year improvements and any other responsibilities as assigned. A key responsibility of this role is ensuring documentation is accurate and current. Takes lead on product and process documentation.
