DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
This position is one of four administrative assistants within Transportation Services (TS). The administrative unit is responsible for supporting the administrative and financial needs of all the units within Transportation Services. The Administrative unit holds independent decision-making authority based on significant knowledge of the organization’s objectives, activities, policies, procedures and technical activities. TS is a self-supporting auxiliary unit consisting of two departments and two programs that employ 30 staff and 70 student employees with budget in excess of $15M.
JOB SUMMARY
Under general direction of the Administrative Services Supervisor, these positions serve as the first point of contact and subject matter experts on transportation and parking related services for the campus. Independently analyze client’s transportation needs and provide guidance on available services including use of applications for daily parking and parking space inventory. Manage citation appeals and approve adjustments within delegated scope of responsibility. Reconcile sales transactions, audit reports for transfer of revenue to appropriate fund sources within accounting deadlines.
