Univ of Louisville Dental School is Hiring a Pediatric Dental Assistant Near Louisville, KY
This position would be assigned to one of two Pediatric locations to work chairside as a dental assistant. The locations are 982 Eastern Parkway, Louisville, KY or 1050 E. Market St, Louisville, KY.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the faculty, peers, and supervisors to deliver customer service oriented and patient centered care.
- Serve as chairside dental assistant to dentists as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) or a surgical assistant, providing four hand dental assisting as needed.
- Greet, seat, and schedule patients as needed.
- Maintain stock of supplies throughout the clinic, and order as needed.
- Stock, prepare, organize, break down and clean operatories.
- Sterilize clinic instruments following appropriate infection control procedures.
- Take radiographs as needed.
- Maintain HIPAA, OSHA, and Infection Control compliance at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
