Overview:

Cardiac Sonographer II, Cardiology, Des Moines

PRN, as needed

Monday 12-4 pm – Penn Avenue
Wed – 730 -4pm – Lakeview
Friday 730-4pm Methodist Plaza

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiac Sonographer II to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing detailed cardiac ultrasound examinations, providing accurate diagnostic data, and collaborating with physicians to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

Echo primary w/vascular experience secondary preferred.
Graduate of an accredited cardiac sonography program.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in specialty field, i.e., vascular diagnostics or echocardiography.
Current registry in either cardiac and/or vascular sonography through the ARDMS/CCI.
Proficiency in performing and interpreting a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures.
Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
