Job Overview:
The receptionist is an administrative support employee responsible for performing general administrative and clerical support duties, including managing the front office reception. The Receptionist greets volunteers, donors, and clients and manages the telephone system, routing calls to the different departments and providing clerical support to Community Impact and the office of the president. The receptionist also manages the community room guests.
This position is 100% on-site. Schedule is Tuesday-Friday, noon -5:00 PM
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Chief First Impression Officer
· Provide a welcoming experience for guests, clients, volunteers, and donors.
· Support Community Impact with light clerical activities.
· Assist with bank deposits backing up primary staff.
· Copy and sort materials for distribution.
· Handle incoming mail and outgoing mail.
· Manage the postage meter.
· Phone system programming and settings changes.
· Assist with event registration at events or special meetings.
· Work with Resource Development and Community Impact with bulk mailings.
· Manage community room bookings and calendars.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum of one year experience providing excellent face-to-face customer service
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
· Friendly, Kind, Courteous, and able to learn new tasks.
· Data entry for resource development and community impact.
· Assist with meeting setup and preparing materials.
· Ability to multitask – answer the phone and complete small projects accurately.
Education & Training:
· High School diploma or equivalent.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
