General Summary
Under general supervision of the Strategic Management Officer, the Project Coordinator will support the Project Management Organization in organizing and coordinating equipment, resources, data, and information to implement upcoming projects. Working in a team environment and in accordance with the USSFCU project management methodology, the Project Coordinator will organize meetings, take notes, maintain Playbooks, manage schedules, and ensure materials and information are present to meet project deadlines. The Project Coordinator will also serve as the Retail Business Administrator for the corporate communications system.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Education: Associates Degree and Project Management experience or equivalent work preferred.
Experience: Experience using project management software for a variety of tasks. Competency in using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience in Cost-Benefit Analysis and Project Tracking Cost. Stakeholder management skills preferred. Previous financial institution experience preferred and experience facilitating meetings and workshops.
Skills: Is detail oriented. Provides and receives constructive feedback, taking direction to ensure adherence to the agreed upon Project Management Methodology. Manages conflict and timely resolution of internal and external project issues and project schedule. Shows empathy and patience. Remains organized, multitasks effectively and is open to learning. Has the ability to the initiative and move to action.
Communication: Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills. Remains approachable, flexible, adaptable, and accountable. Maintains social and interpersonal skills.
Supervisory: None Required
Time in Service: 1-3 years of Project Management experience preferred.
