United States Army Futures Command is Hiring an Operations Research Analyst Near Fort Eisenhower, GA
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This position is located in theCyber Capability Development Integration Directorate located at Fort Gordon, Georgia. Cyber CDID develops, evaluates, integrates, and communicates concepts, doctrine, requirements and solutions across DOTMLPF, Warfighting functions and formations.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Basic Requirement for Operations Research Analyst:
Degree: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in operations research; or a degree with at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Applying knowledge of workings, characteristics, and composition of cyberspace doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, and facilities (DOTMLPF); 2) Designing and building mathematical models using available tools and programs; and 3) Using models to simulate real world environments of many variables and derive useful information from the results. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above]).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
