Summary:

The position of the Dining Services Sous Chef is to prepare food in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations with our established policies and procedures, and as maybe directed by the Director of Dining Services, Chef Manager, Community Director, Senior and/or Director of Dining Services to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED, Required

Culinary Education Preferred

ServSafe Certification Required. Will provide if needed.

Allergen Certification Required. Will provide if needed.

Seven (7) years short order cook experience in a restaurant, café, food service kitchen or other related environment preferred. 

Two (2) years supervisor experience. 

Must possess and provide a copy of a valid and unrestricted Michigan driver's license. 

On-the-job training provided. 

Must be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age.

NOTE: The rate of pay will be determined based on relevant employment experience. Your resume should adequately reflect all paid relevant culinary experience.
