The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance which includes, but is not limited to, electrical, technical, mechanical, carpentry and plumbing to the bank’s various locations. Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to: Inspect buildings, electrical systems, grounds and equipment to ensure safe, well-maintained conditions, identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair. Collaborate with and assist IT across all banking centers, including camera installation and network cabling. Assist with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC systems including changing filters. Complete maintenance work as assigned and in a timely manner. Identify and perform basic service and repair on plumbing fixtures, open clogged lines and drains, replace faucets & drains. Operate a variety of machinery such as power tools and lawn care equipment. Perform a variety of locksmith duties; install, repair and replace locks on doors. Inspect, service and maintain operational functionality of doors and windows. Install or replace plugs, switches, outlets, light fixtures, bulbs and ballasts. Assist with snow removal by shoveling walks and salting at various locations. Perform periodic maintenance of lawn equipment. Assist with moving, loading, unloading and storing supplies, furniture and equipment. Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables and chairs to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings. Keep all equipment and tools organized and secure, as well as in safe, working order. Reports to the VP Bank Real Estate & Facilities conditions that require further attention to ensure unsafe conditions are not created or perpetuated. Occasionally required to sit. Frequently must squat, stoop, or kneel, reach above the head and reach forward. Daily uses hand strength to grasp tools, supplies and equipment. Occasionally climbs ladders. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Working Conditions: Typical office environment Regular office hours are Mon thru Friday from 8am to 5pm. At times, working outside of the stated regular hours may be required.
