This individual will assist the General Manager in the functioning of the hotel. Performs repairs and preventative maintenance work to ensure the hotel maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained. Provided excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner, following Emerald Hospitality standards of friendly hospitality while adhering to guidelines and procedures.

PRE REQUISITES
Maintenance associates have access to guestrooms and property, character traits of honesty and trustworthiness are essential to this position. Therefore maintenance associates must pass the appropriate security clearance, per company policy.

• Working knowledge of: preventative maintenance, electricity, ac and plumbing
• One year as a maintenance technician or similar position
• Completes maintenance and facilities tasks from work orders.
• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment, as advised.
• Dismantle defective machine and equipment and install new components.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Repair and/or replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment.
• Paints walls, doors, ceilings, etc.
• Response to calls and questions from members, owners, and guests.
• Conduct building rounds and maintain proper records and documentation.
• Supervise, perform and document preventative maintenance program according to The Company and brand standards.
• Guidelines for training checklist of areas to be maintained.
• Follow and manage using The Company procedures and policies.
• Must be organized to maintain logs, checklists on schedule.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs as well as general maintenance on property grounds.
• Use and care of hand and power tools and equipment appropriate to the area assignment.
• Assist with guest issues, be professional and maintain a hospitable caring attitude.
• Maintain guest privacy.
• Work within the budgetary guidelines. Able to understand the importance of cost saving without sacrificing service.
• Remain service centric.
• Communicate professionally with guests and co-workers.
• Computer knowledge is helpful.
• Must be available to work weekends and nights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
