Job Summary:

In account management you will coordinate and execute various departmental functions. Primarily as a conduit and mentor between assigned Members located within a multi-state region, as well as strategic and marketing partners. In addition, they are responsible for developing reports to assist the department and the membership from the Database, Analytics tool, AS400 system or other means.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support for assigned categories and assists in the preparation, coordination and distribution of price lists, market updates, and logistical information along with other data pertinent to maximizing Member sales
  • Communicates with assigned Member principals and/or key executive personnel, in order to identify Member needs, mission, and strategies to successfully promote and sell programs that fit their criteria in conjunction with our cooperative goals and objectives.
  • Proactively work with UniPro Members and the UniPro Staff to grow participation through the assigned categories and suppliers to increase Members earned income returns
  • Effectively implements Member Development initiatives and strategies with ability to leverage internal synergies, best practices and ensure alignment with overall strategies to drive revenue.
  • Implementation of newly approved suppliers into the UniPro system to ensure all required documents are completed and submitted correctly internally as well as being communicated externally
  • Inputs, coordinates and maintains system pricing for general pricing, as well as specific competitive and special Member pricing
  • Works with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to insure efficient invoicing of Members and on time payments to suppliers
  • Develops and maintains reporting for revenue generating programs
  • Produces reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to management, customers, investors, and other relevant parties.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software program to create reports and spreadsheets.
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems.
  • Ability to negotiate and settle differences quickly and peacefully.
  • Ability to act as a team player.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum three years in finance or other analytical role
  • Food service experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
