Union Square Practice and SportStrata are mental health and performance psychology practices located in New York City. Our practice was co-founded by Dr. Jonathan Fader who also serves as the Director of Mental Health and Wellness for the Major League Baseball Players Association. Our team collectively specializes in providing both mental health treatment and performance coaching to athletes, business leaders, executives, and first responders. We firmly believe that every team - and every individual - has the potential to level up.

We offer a broad spectrum of services including psychotherapy, psychopharmacology as well as performance optimization, leadership development, and resilience training. Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an entry-level Program Assistant. The Program Assistant will be responsible for assisting the current Project Coordinator to ensure the successful completion of various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, team player, who demonstrates the ability to independently problem solve with the support of the senior team.

Responsibilities

• Example tasks may include assembling and organizing referral spreadsheets, making introductory calls to clinical providers, and speaking with potential high-profile clients.
• Liaise with clients and team members via email to ensure project alignment with goals and objectives.
• Assist in the definition of project scope, objectives, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules and progress reports.
• Monitor project progress and address issues as they arise.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, and other project-related events.
• Assist in the evaluation of project outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in note-taking, errands, and clerical work as necessary.

Qualifications

• Some ability to speak Spanish (please indicate your level of Spanish speaking ability in your cover letter)
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, business administration, project or sports management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Canva or a related software application
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Social media skills
