Operations Manager - Office of Residential Education & Housing
Pay Status and Classification: Non-Exempt, Regular full-time (40 hours per week)
Supervisor: Associate Director for Housing Operations
Position Purpose: Utilizing a team approach, exercising sound judgment, and exemplifying a positive attitude, the Operations Manager manages the day-to-day operations of the Residential Education (ResEd)& Housing Office, including Greek Leadership and Minerva Programs. Serves as the main receptionist and interacts with students, student staff, parents, and other campus constituencies daily. Identifies and articulates student needs and collaborates with appropriate residential staff to provide an effective institutional response. Keeps sensitive information private and confidential. Supports the Associate Director of Housing Operations with all operational tasks associated with the office. Carries out the mission of Union College and the Division of Student Affairs.
This position works on site and primarily in person. Additionally, this position may involve occasional evening and weekend responsibilities.

Compensation
The rate for this position is $24.00 - $26.25 per hour. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
