UIC Alaska is Hiring a Program Analyst Near Dahlgren, VA

Overview

Program Analyst (E30-2024-20632):

Bowhead seeks a part time DoD SECRET cleared Program Analyst to join our team supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), E Department. The position is fully funded. The Program Analyst will work directly with the client analyzing complex and unique technical support assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Applying engineering principles and techniques in the development of quality assurance evaluations and tests on medium caliber munitions and related component systems
  • Develop life cycle cost analyses for medium caliber munitions
  • Understand program management concepts supporting the optimization of cost, schedule, and technical performance
  • Provide technical analysis of documentation in support of various events and milestone reviews
  • Travel may be required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
  • Six (6) years professional technical experience which includes four (4) years specialized experience in analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals, requirements, and objectives
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
