Friends Hospital offers a continuum of care including level of care assessments; specially designed inpatient units for adolescents, adults, and older adults; and a private residential rehabilitation program. As directed by the Director/Assistant Director of the Crisis Response Center and Referral, the CRC Referral Manager povides managerial oversight of the timely processing of inquiry and referral calls. Ensures Department is effectively communicating with referral sources, physicians, unit staff and hospital personnel involved with each transfer request. Monitors the entry of call data into the facility’s database and manages all e-fax application(s) to process incoming referrals and transfer requests in a timely manner. Ensures Department effectively communicates with unit staff, physicians, and Admissions Triage Staff. Assists with development of and ensures compliance with hospital’s policies and procedures regarding referral management. Maintains Department schedule and leads the hiring, interviewing, and training of new Staff. Assists Admissions Director with the analysis of referral and key indicator data.

QualificationsA minimum of three to five (3-5) years’ experience working in a Behaviorial Health intake, admissions or crisis intervention department along with at least one to three (1-3) years’ experience of managing a Clinical team. A Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) preferred or a Master's degree in a mental health related field required.
