Hermitage Hall (a UHS company) is one of Middle Tennessee's largest stand-alone psychiatric residential treatment Hospitals. Licensed by Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as a mental health residential treatment center for children and youth, Hermitage Hall has provided services to families for over 30 years.

We are currently looking for an Assistant Residential Director to join our team of dedicated professionals. This role requires a full background check including fingerprint, drug screen, and employment verification.

Position Summary: Assists the Residential Director and/or Director of Operations in providing management and operation of residential facilities for referred youth by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists with monitoring of daily operations of the facility via on-site supervision and delegation of duties to facility staff.
• Ensure monthly compliance of staffing needs to include appropriate staff-to-client ratio by managing Mental Health Assistant Schedule
• Heads up training MHA staff as well as Handle With Care and Verbal Descaltion training during New Hire Orientation as well as ongoing training for current staff.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.

• 4-5 years of Mental Health Assistant/ Tech experience with training and supervisory role related experience.

• Handle with Care and Verbal Descalation instructor certification required
