Purpose:

To work alongside the Director of Nursing in overseeing the overall operations of the nursing department in accordance with governmental regulations and company policies so as to uphold a high standard of care to meet any of the residents’ needs.

Duties:

• Supervising all nursing staff
• Maintaining high standards of care for all patients
• Managing patients’ data and medical records as confidential records
• Recruiting, training, and onboarding new nursing staff
• Providing ongoing education classes
• Implementing new procedures and training Nurses on policies
• Assist & Participate in all facility surveys made by authorized governmental agencies.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Must have an active registered nurse (RN) license in TN.
• At least 2-3 years of management experience and at least 10 years of nursing experience are required.
