Qualifications:
Must hold a current RN license in the state of Tennessee.
Must be competent in organizaing, planning and directing nursing care.
Must have a patience, tact, professional disposition and be able to hande patients based on whatever fuctioning level they may have.
Must possess a spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm in order to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and restorative care, and growth for all concerned.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring the completion of the Minimum Date Set (MDS) for all residents. Share information with the Care Plan Coordinator to ensure the development of care plans that perform restorative and rehabilitative nursing procedures with an attitude of realistic optimism that maximizes the resident's existing abilities, emphasize independence instead of dependence and minimize the negative effects of disability in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility. Take the initiative to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Develop positive working relationshops with residents, all employees, agencies and family members.
