Responsibilities
Laurel Heights Hospital located in Atlanta Georgia has a TEACHER opportunity. Laurel Heights Hospital is an intensive Residential Treatment/Acute and Autism Spectrum Disorders Program for children and adolescents. We serve and treat severe and complex psychiatric and behavioral difficulties and co-occurring psychiatric issues. We provide a caring, therapeutic setting with various therapeutic modalities and applied behavior analysis services. EOE
Qualifications
Current Georgia State Teacher certification in Behavior Disorders/Interrelated or Adaptive preferred; knowledge of educational principles and methodology as applied to students with emotional and learning problems; assessment, time management and interpersonal skills; skills in applying a variety of instructional methodology with special populations; sound written and oral communication skills; records keeping skills; public speaking or presentation skills helpful; decision-making and problem solving skills. Employee must have a valid Georgia Driver's License. EOE.
