Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for toddler children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's development and any concerns or updates
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Previous experience working with toddler-aged children
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
Note: Experience in child welfare, tutoring, physical education, daycare, or math is a plus but not required for this position.
