Toddler/Infant Teacher (Floater)
This postion will be Monday and Tuesdays 7:30am-4:30pm, with our 1 year olds. Floating the rest of the week.
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children
- Conduct regular assessments to track each child's progress
- Communicate with parents/guardians about their child's development and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred)
