Responsibilities

Quail Run Hospital is a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. Quail Run features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Quail Run Behavioral Health.

Full-Time DAY SHIFT and NIGHT SHIFT AVAILABLE

Position Summary:

The LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders. The LPN accurately collects data need for the appropriate portion of the integrated assessment. The LPN must have a knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures. Communicates changes in the patient’s condition to the Registered Nurse (RN) We look for nurses who demonstrate competent patient care, good communication and relationship skills; ability to set boundaries, hold confidences, establish and maintain trust; social maturity, emotional stability, self-confidence and assertiveness

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing and a valid unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing (or issued by another state recognized by the Arizona Board of Nursing as a multi-compact license state).
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a LPN
• Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. 
• CPR certification upon hire
• Must have or obtain a Level One AZ DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card within 30 days of employment
