You will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. You will be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation. You will also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room. You will:

·Ensure accurate processing of radiology orders

·Maintain accurate up-to-date records of procedures performed

·Operate a variety of post-processing/3D workstations

·Perform accurate image archival

·Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media

·Sensitively handle physical and emotional needs of the patient

Job Qualifications:

We’re seeking a graduate from an AMA Radiologic Tech program with:

·Ability to adapt to advancements and changing technologies

·Ability to identify contraindications for exams

·ARRT, MR – preferred

·CRT, ARRT, R – required

·Excellent communication, interpersonal and independent decision-making skills

·Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX codes)

·Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology

·One or more years of MRI experience – Three or more years of CT experience preferred

·Siemens experience – preferred

·Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities

·Venipuncture experience a plus
