UCLA Health is Hiring a Center Administrator - NCCTS Near Los Angeles, CA

Description

The National Center for Child Traumatic Stress is seeking to hire a full time Center Administrator (Admin Officer 3) to be responsible for the management of center administration and support, which includes activities in human resources matters, financial resources, IT and general office management. in this role you will serve as a member of the Center’s senior management team, helping to develop and maintain the administrative infrastructure needed to support the Center’s programs and sustainability. You will also serves as the Center's liaison with the Semel Institute Finance Office, Staff Human Resources, and other University offices. You will supervise one (1) full-time Finance Analyst. Pay Range: $71,50000 - $154,900.00 annually.

Qualifications

Required: Must have 5 years experience in contracts and grants management. Demonstrated experience managing and directing administrative activities of a multi-faceted education and training program. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, policies, and procedures. Demonstrated skill in financial analysis to develop and manage complex budgets and to prepare and explain financial reports. Strong knowledge of UCLA Purchasing and Accounting systems, Financial system, Travel system and Payroll/Personnel system. Demonstrated skill in analyzing expenditure patterns and trends and in forecasting future resource needs. Ability to oversee and manage funding from highly regulated sources. Strong knowledge of staff and academic personnel policies, practices, and systems. Demonstrated experience in developing internal operating systems, policies, and procedures. Skill in working independently and managing multiple deadlines. Ability to supervise and delegate and evaluate performance of support staff. Demonstrated ability to interpret funding agency and University policies and procedures. Demonstrated skill in utilizing Microsoft Office and Adobe applications. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Preferred: Ability to work as part of a multi-site team. Ability to handle sensitive financial and personnel matters confidentially and professionally. Strong knowledge of the eRA Commons web-based system.
