The Ophthalmic Surgery Center Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the surgery center, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative areas. Direct patient care as needed will be required along with ensuring adequate staffing based on the number of surgeries scheduled. The Surgery Center Administrator will implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements along with driving quality improvement initiatives and maintaining a commitment to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess valid RN licensure to practice in the state of California along with active BLS and ACLS certifications. 3-5 years of OR Circulator experience is highly preferred, however the excellent team is willing to train. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills as well as in-depth knowledge of eye surgery procedures and protocols is a definite plus.
