The Department of Surgery is seeking to hire a full time Academic Personnel Analyst II to be responsible for academic personnel administration as well as the processing and analysis of actions including, but not limited to appointments, merits and promotion dossiers while ensuring policy/procedure compliance. In this role you will be responsible for the personnel review cycle process including the preparation of dossiers, committee reports, and the preparation of exemptions for interim and visiting appointments. Pay Range: $28.78 - $59.34 hourly.
Required: 1. Demonstrated working knowledge of academic personnel dossiers preparation, review and submission for all actions, including appointment, merit, 4th year appraisals and promotions. 2. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills, including excellent skill in writing legible, concise and grammatically correct documentation in Standard English. 3. Demonstrated skill in organizing material and information in a systematic manner, set and follow-through on priorities, and maintain composure in situations involving emergencies to maximize efficiency and minimize duplicate effort while working with frequent interruptions and a heavy workload. 4. Ability to work independently under minimal supervision to exercise appropriate decisions, attend to many details within a short span of time, and complete assignments in a timely manner. 5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Ability to type with speed and accuracy. 6. Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with faculty, staff, patients and other related personnel. 7. Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
