What does a Chief MRI Technologist Do?

Oversees work in the magnetic resonance department, maintains technical aspects of radiologic safety and evaluates accuracy and quality of MRIs. Schedules work assignments and coordinates requests for services. Recommends new equipment, equipment modification, and crucial construction within the department. May perform duties of MRI Technologist as needed. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Requires a registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T.
