DescriptionUnder the general direction of the Director, UCLA Health System Facilities, you will manage the day to day preventative and reactive maintenance efforts and inspections/testing designed to ensure an appropriate Environment of Care and Life Safety environment in the Santa Monica Medical and Orthopedic Hospital campus physical plant. You will maintain subject premises in consistent compliance with the requirements of all applicable regulatory agencies and their proxies (including but not limited to: CMS, CDPH, State Board of Pharmacy, TJC, Cal OSHA, CARB, city, county, state and federal entities, etc.). You will manage a team consisting of approximately thirty represented employees consisting of superintendents, admin staffers, facility mechanics, plumbers, electricians, service engineers, etc., as well as numerous specialized external vendors, including UCLA Campus Facilities Management. Represent UCLA Health to regulatory agencies and their proxies during all scheduled and unannounced surveys/complaint validations; consistently engage in risk management activities. You will work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team setting to advance the overall goals of the Health System as determined by Leadership; actively promote a culture of safety, engagement, equity, and inclusiveness. Maintain departmental expenditures within budget and speak to budget variances should they occur. Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm (additional work hours may vary depending on departmental needs) Annual Pay Range: $86,900 - $197,300/annually
