Summary:
The Behavioral Health Service Line is looking for a Behavioral Health Educator to join their team! This individual will be tasked with supporting the various behavioral health educational initiatives for UCHealth employees both within, and outside of, the behavioral health programs. The ideal candidate will have a combination of clinical expertise and education development experience. This role will collaborate with other departments, including professional development, and will be a part of driving initiatives aimed at helping our staff care for behavioral health patients and themselves.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.
• Designs, delivers, and assesses learning activities and curricula related to clinical competencies, departmental/organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the use of clinical information technologies.
• Serves as a consultant/mentor for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
• Participates in the development, coordination, and delivery of new staff orientation and education activities.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) or state licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• 2 years of relevant experience.
