MAJOR GIFTS OFFICER

Hiring Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 (commensurate with experience)
THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Major Gift Officer (MGO) is responsible for securing philanthropic gifts from alumni and friends of UC Law San Francisco. This is accomplished primarily through individual connection, interactions, and extensive relationship building. This position reports to the Chief Development Officer and will be tasked with two key objectives: 1) manage and develop a portfolio of active and prospective new major and principal gift donors; and 2) close gifts and work with the MGO of Stewardship and Donor Relations to ensure effective stewardship of individual donors.
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Major Gift Officer works as a member of the Office of Advancement.
The MGO will be tasked with developing a major and principal gifts pipeline rooted in the best practices of the development and fundraising industry. Key duties and responsibilities for this assignment include:
