The ideal candidate will be able and willing to perform routine and preventative maintenance, light carpentry, patch and paint jobs, relocating furniture and equipment, and other items necessary to providing our patients and staff a safe and clean environment.. They will assist in the Surgery Department with both patient transport and Life Safety Compliance requirements. They must be able to work independently and have excellent time management and organizational skills. Physical requirements include the ability to walk and move quickly in response to maintenance and safety needs, climb ladders, load boxes, move desks, and drive the company pickup truck. The candidate will be required to carry, lift, pull and push up to 75lbs. occasionally and up to 50lbs. frequently and/or up to twenty lbs. constantly. This position works under the direction of the Facilities Manager and Practice Administrator.
