Description

The Barista drives the customer experience by flexing into multiple areas of the business including cashiering, making drinks, food service, baking and/ or cleaning. Serving the customer is always top priority regardless of work area. The Barista will likely spend most of their time behind the bar but will have the opportunity to learn other skills as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers with a positive attitude.
• Informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
• Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers.
• Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality.
• Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter.
• Working part of a fun, high-energy team.
• Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
• Cash handling.
• Supporting all activities related to providing a safe working environment.
• Performing open and closing duties in a timely manner.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
