Our client, an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of pre-engineered premium steel products, is actively seeking an accomplished CEO to strategically navigate the company through a period of significant growth and market expansion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in executive leadership within the manufacturing sector, and a demonstrated ability to successfully drive corporate strategy, operational excellence, and profitability. Fostering a culture of collaboration, the CEO will play a pivotal role in the company's ambitious plans to double in size over the next five years through M&As and territorial sales expansions. This is a career-defining opportunity to make an impact on the industry and contribute to the development of modern infrastructure advancements.

Day-to-Day:

  • Coordination and Supervision - Coordinate, manage and monitor various departments in the organization.
  • Financial acumen – Accurate P&L management. Review financial statements and data. Utilize data to improve profitability. Prepare and control operational budgets. Control inventory. Plan effective strategies for the financial well-being of the company.
  • Best Practices - Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Human Resources - Plan the use of human resources. Organize recruitment and placement of required staff. Establish organizational structures. Delegate tasks and accountabilities. Establish work schedules. Supervise Vice Presidents. Monitor and evaluate performance.
  • Production - Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments involved in manufacturing production, warehousing, shipping, pricing, and distribution of goods. Monitor performance and implement improvements. Ensure the quality of products. Manage quality and quantity of employee productivity. Manage maintenance of equipment and machinery. Provide technical support where necessary. Understand what to pause and what to green light.
  • Communication - Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of sales, manufacturing, and support services such as IT, HR, Accounting and Finance. Facilitate coordination, collaboration, and communication between support functions.
  • Board of Directors Reporting – Including financial performance, strategic progress, and operational developments.

What You Bring:

  • Proven executive leadership in fabricated steel products manufacturing or adjacent field.
  • Exceptional P&L management, and financial acumen.
  • Ability to influence, inspire and motivate others.
  • A sharp strategic mind, capable of navigating complexities and seizing opportunities.
  • Impeccable communication skills that enable you to articulate a vision with clarity and conviction.
  • Consistency in delivering results that exceed expectations.
  • A proven track record in the pre-engineered steel products sector, bringing invaluable insights and expertise to the table.
  • Previous post-acquisition and Board of Directors reporting experience is a plus.
$200K-$250K plus ladder based on Gross Profit achievement accomplishment from 0-20% of annual base pay.
