Job Description: Our client is looking for a Field Service Technician who will be responsible for performing field activities associated with installing, maintaining and servicing 2 way radio equipment and IP networking equipment - switchers and routers
Responsibilities:
-Performs field activities associated with installing, maintaining and servicing products at customer sites.
-Replaces defective units/components as appropriate. Assists in the conduct of equipment/system acceptance testing following established procedures
-Performs preventative maintenance
-Provide operation/maintenance instruction to customer personnel.
-Work with customer via phone to identify operation/technical problems.
-Go on calls to customer sites to service their equipment
Requirements:
- Electronics training equivalent to two years of technical trade or military school and 2 years field service or technical experience.
-Valid Drivers License
- Maintaining network- troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
-Radio - troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
-Electronic experience - troubleshooting electronic devices - such as PC, servers (Redhat),
-Familiarity with computer networks connectivity
Background exp: Cellular, cellular networks, cable techs that set up internet access,
