TrustPoint.One has partnered with a boutique law firm just outside of Downtown D.C. for their search for a litigation associate with 1-5 years of experience. The firm engages in matters involving insurance, bankruptcy, mass torts litigation and represent large insurance companies for complex matters.

Responsibilities for a litigation associate include, but are not limited to:

• Developing litigation strategies for disputes
• Managing litigation and arbitration disputes
• Conducting complex legal research and analysis
• Drafting legal memoranda and position letters
• Drafting pleadings, briefs, written discovery, and other legal correspondence
• Participating in depositions, document reviews, hearings and conferences
• Analyzing insurance policies, drafting analyses of coverage issues and providing coverage advice and recommendations for clients

Qualifications include:

• Candidates interested in the ligation associate role should posses the ability to manage and prioritize significant projects on their own while maintaining active partnership with the team.
• 1-5 years of litigation experience
• JD Degree from an ABA accredited law school
• Admitted to the D.C. Bar, or must be in the process of becoming eligible
• Displays attributes such as being highly-motivated and organized
