Trustly is Hiring a Remote Event Marketing Manager

WHO WE ARE

The Trustly Americas team combines PayWithMyBank, a 2012 Silicon Valley startup, with Trustly AB of Sweden, following their 2019 merger. Our team represents 30 nationalities, serving 8,300 merchants, connecting to 650 million consumers, and 12,000 banks across 33 countries. Our global network processes over $42 billion annually.

Our digital account-to-account platform redefines the speed, simplicity and security of payments. Consumers pay for purchases by simply signing into their bank accounts, bypassing the card networks, and never leaving a merchant’s site or app – no credit card numbers or separate account setup necessary.

With U.S. headquarters in Silicon Valley and global headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden, we are a culturally diverse team also spread across Canada, Brazil, UK, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Malta and more! Across North America, we have embraced a work from anywhere policy throughout the continental US and Canada.

It’s a great time to join Trustly as the Americas team is growing. If you thrive in an entrepreneurially minded, fast-paced, casual, professional, positive, and rewarding work environment, check us out!

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Trustly’s Event Marketing Manager, you will join a growing marketing team that is setting records across North America in helping to drive merchant and consumer usage of Trustly’s products and services. Reporting directly to the Director of Demand Generation, this is a critical role to create, build, and drive a field/event marketing strategy and roadmap for the team and company now and into the future.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Plan, develop, and manage Trustly’s event marketing program in North America and design unique experiences — online and offline — to build awareness of Trustly’s brand, products, and services, and generate demand.
  • Test and iterate on multiple event formats (i.e., webinars, panels, focus groups, recorded sessions, live in-person, fireside chats, etc.) to identify and double down on winning tactics.
  • Build relationships with merchant customers and industry players to collaborate on events as co-presenters, panelists, guest speakers, etc.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Channels, etc. to surface event opportunities and coordinate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Work closely with designers, copywriters, content marketers, and other creative partners (internal and external - i.e., agencies, booth builders, etc.) to develop the right experience for the different event programs.
  • Help to develop effective tracking and reporting across all events initiatives to ensure we are measuring impact, gathering learnings, and continually improving our Field Marketing programs.
  • Ensure that our events strategy encompasses awareness, education, impact and evangelism across Trustly's prospects and customer base.
  • Develop strong and meaningful event and booth expectations among stakeholders across the teams.
  • Comfortable with and have the ability to travel across the US. Estimated 30% travel.
WHO YOU ARE
  • 3 years Event/Field Marketing experience for Enterprise B2B companies (Fintech and Payments experience is a plus).
  • Proven track record of operational excellence in fast-moving environments.
  • Outstanding project management skills to orchestrate event logistics and coordination in both virtual as well as in-person environments.
  • Energetic, go-getter, and self-starter attitude with a passion for building delightful event experiences.
  • Confident and understands how to work with and influence executives both internally and externally.
  • Willing to work on multiple events at the same time.
  • Passionate about testing new ideas at the event.
  • Ability to influence and bring everyone onboard about the events.
