Truck dispatcher will coordinate and manage the schedules of truck drivers to ensure all products are picked up and delivered in a timely manner. You will receive calls for truck services and contact the drivers to arrange for these pick ups. Truck dispatcher needs to be highly detailed and work well under pressure to coordinate lost of changing factors. While the main priority is scheduling trucks efficiently, other job duties include but are not limited to:
managing truck drivers' schedule and routes
documenting all calls, deliveries, and routes
completing paperwork related to loads
handling customer issues
