True Insurance is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Ithaca, NY

Our busy, downtown Ithaca insurance agency is looking for a receptionist, someone who likes being in the center of the action at work.

We are looking for someone who is professional, dynamic, friendly, and smart, someone who wants to work as part of a two-person receptionist team. We are looking for someone with an eye on the future, someone who is looking to enter a new field where there is great room for growth.

Your role would be to greet and direct walk-in and phone clients. You would also take payments and complete a variety of other office/computer tasks.

While no insurance experience is required, we do require the following: At least one-year of office experience. (Because this is a requirement, if your office experience is not easily discernible from your resume, please attach a note explaining that experience. We can't consider anyone without 2-years of office/desk experience, so please tell us how a former role fits the requirement. We are open to reading all about it!)

You will earn $16-$17/hour based on experience, be salaried after 60 days, at which time you will enjoy paid holidays, and vacation and sick time. After one year, we offer a 401K plan. Hours are 8:30am-4:30pm with an hour for lunch, Mondays-Fridays. No weekends or nights! Free parking included. Sorry, we do not offer health insurance.

We look forward to reading about you!
