True Fitness Technology is Hiring a Quality Manager Near St. Louis, MO

As a Quality Manager at True Fitness, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products/services meet and exceed industry standards and customer expectations. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing comprehensive quality metrics, fostering a proactive approach to quality management, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

Quality Metrics Development:

  • Establish and maintain key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and assess various aspects of product/service quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and monitor metrics aligned with organizational goals and customer satisfaction.

Proactive Quality Culture:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a proactive quality culture, emphasizing prevention over detection.

Root Cause Analysis:

  • Develop and implement effective root cause analysis methodologies to identify and address the underlying causes of quality issues.
  • Work closely with relevant teams to drive corrective and preventive actions based on root cause analysis findings.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, ensuring that lessons learned from quality incidents are used to enhance processes and prevent future issues.
  • Implement best practices and industry benchmarks to elevate the overall quality standard.

Travel and Collaboration:

  • Regularly travel to Taiwan and China to work closely with local staff, vendors, and partners.
  • Conduct on-site assessments, audits, and training sessions to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Vendor Relationship Management:

  • Collaborate with vendors to establish and maintain strong quality standards in the supply chain.
  • Conduct regular vendor audits and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, or related discipline).
  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager with a focus on metrics development and proactive quality management.
  • Strong understanding of quality methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean, and statistical process control.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to drive cultural change and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Familiarity with relevant quality management standards and regulatory requirements.

This position is onsite at our Corporate Headquarters in O'Fallon, MO.
