Good is what we do!! TRU Healthcare is now hiring a Director of Finance who will lead, manage and direct the company’s financial and accounting policies, systems and processes. The Director of Finance will be responsible for cash flow/forecasting, financial modeling, business planning/budgeting, payroll systems and processes, and tax/regulatory requirements. While carrying out the responsibilities of this position, ensure the values of servant-leadership, empathy, altruism, and integrity are evident in all actions and encounters. This position will work out of our Corporate office in Shoreview.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage company cash flow and forecasting
  • Ensure all journal entries are accurately entered into software, follow-up
  • Develop short and long-term financial objectives in collaboration with CEO and COO
  • Analyze financial health of the organization identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinate audits to endure compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Coordinate the financial planning, budgeting, procurement, and investment activities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors
  • Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures for all areas of responsibility
  • Assist staff with accounting and budgeting procedures
  • Ensure all accounts receivable and accounts payable are processed and reconciled in a timely manner
  • Delegate, or personally follow-up on, difficult collection activities, ensuring all paperwork and/or electronic information has been processed to secure payment
  • Process final month end and payroll reports
  • Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and reports as scheduled and requested
  • Ensure compliance to all applicable State, Federal, and accreditation/licensing/certification regulations

Qualifications

  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field of study, CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • At least 5 years of finance management experience
  • Highly proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Suite
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
