Job Title: Program Finance Analyst

Overview:

• Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Finance Analyst to join their dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of related program finance experience in a government contracting environment.
• The Program Finance Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the financial management of our programs, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis of program budgets, expenditures, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to project managers and senior leadership.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with program managers to develop, monitor, and maintain program budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.
• Cost Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and analyze project costs, including labor, materials, and overhead, to ensure adherence to budget constraints and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Government Compliance: Ensure compliance with government regulations and contract requirements, including FAR, DFARS, and CAS, by maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Variance Analysis: Identify and investigate variances between budgeted and actual costs, providing explanations and recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including project status reports, financial statements, and invoices.
• Contract Management: Support contract negotiations and modifications by providing financial analysis and insights to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in program financial management.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, including program management, accounting, and procurement, to ensure alignment and integration of financial processes and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of related program finance experience in a government contracting environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial management tools.
• Strong understanding of government regulations and compliance requirements, including FAR, DFARS, and CAS.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
• Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
