Tripleseat is seeking an experienced and strategic marketing leader to join our team as Vice President, Brand Marketing. As the VP, Brand Marketing at Tripleseat, you will have the opportunity to drive the growth of our brand in the hospitality event management industry, shape our brand strategy, and lead a dynamic marketing team.

What you will do:

  • Comprehensive campaign strategy and activation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop integrated campaign strategies that drive Tripleseat brand recognition and increase lead volume. You will lead and inspire the creative team, content team, and social media team to realize the brand vision and achieve business goals. Identify opportunities to scale the team to support the evolving business needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with the marketing growth team, product, sales, and customer success teams to develop marketing programs that support the sales funnel and enhance the customer journey. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including agencies and partners, to deliver successful marketing initiatives that drive brand recognition and market share growth in the event hospitality sector. Partner with the VP, Growth Marketing for the growth and brand teams to create integrated campaign strategies to position Tripleseat as a recognized brand and increase lead volume.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, customer insights, and opportunities to effectively position the Tripleseat brand in the hospitality event management industry. Utilize market research and competitive analysis to inform and optimize marketing strategies.

  • Manage marketing budgets and measure KPIs: Collaborate with Chief Marketing Officer on Marketing Department budget; measure and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), and optimize marketing programs for maximum return on investment (ROI). Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve marketing strategies and tactics.

  • Oversee creation of marketing collateral: Ensure the creation and execution of compelling marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, videos, presentations, whitepapers, and case studies, to support the sales process for all product verticals at Tripleseat. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create impactful marketing assets that align with brand messaging and drive sales. Build and utilize a discipline of creative briefs for any copy or campaign development.

  • Shape the future of content marketing: Take a leadership role in shaping the future of content marketing at Tripleseat. Push for modern, distinct, and multi-channel content ideas that are aligned with customer insights and personas. Drive innovation in content marketing strategies to stay ahead of industry trends and ensure Tripleseat's content remains relevant and engaging.

  • Lead PR strategy: Take charge of Tripleseat's PR strategy and agency relationship to accelerate our market position and product awareness among prospects, partners, and press. Develop and implement PR initiatives that align with overall marketing objectives and contribute to brand recognition and market share growth.

What we are looking for:

  • High-Growth B2B Brand Marketing Expertise: A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in B2B brand marketing, including experience as a VP of Marketing in companies with $50 million (plus) in revenue. 

    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand marketing strategies that drive business results.

    • Demonstrated experience in driving marketing strategies and campaigns that have contributed to business growth and success. 

    • Strong understanding of brand positioning, messaging, and creative concepts that resonate with target audiences.

  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven experience as a VP of Marketing, leading and managing marketing teams of various sizes. Ability to build and motivate high-performing teams, set goals, and provide guidance and mentorship to team members.

  • Creativity and Innovation: Ability to think creatively and bring innovative ideas to the table, pushing the boundaries of traditional marketing approaches. Proven experience in developing and implementing unique and memorable marketing campaigns that cut through the noise and capture audience attention.

  • Results-Driven: Proven track record of delivering measurable results and achieving marketing objectives. Ability to analyze data and insights to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences. Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

  • Time Management and Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and market conditions.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; MBA preferred (or equivalent experience).
