An established General Contractor is looking for a qualified superintendent to run Commercial projects between 250K - 5 Million. The candidate must have previous experience supervising new construction and/or renovations.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret contract documents, building and site plans to ensure all work is being performed accordingly to commercial construction methods.
- A thorough understanding of the submittal process – Ensure that subcontractor materials are in Accordance with the submittals and specifications.
- Manage day-to-day activities on job site to ensure that construction project is on schedule.
- Coordinating material deliveries.
- Coordinating project inspections.
- Be able to communicate with subcontractors/trades to coordinate and schedule subs to meet deadlines, contract requirements and to ensure quality control is taken place to meet subcontractors contract requirements.
- Regularly attend project meetings as well as communicate with the Project Manager.
- Maintaining daily paperwork such as daily field reports, time sheets, email correspondences and any necessary paperwork requirements.
- Maintain “as built” documents throughout duration of the project
- In charge of the safety of job site operations
- Be professional with owners or owner representatives.
- Good Leadership, Work Ethnic, Dependable, Excellent Organizational Skills,
- Basic computer skills include Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Upload Photos, and Scheduling Software
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in supervising renovations and/or new construction
- References and Referrals
- Any certification is a plus (examples: MDE, Lead Paint, OSHA, Green Card, First Aid/CPR)

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
