Job Summary:
The Service Manager is responsible for building, leading and managing the service team to provide exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate for this role is tenacious in their approach to building a high performance team, understands the basic functions of operating a business unit and mechanic shop, and can inspire changes needed to have responsible, scalable growth.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage service shop team members
- Effectively translate vision of the shop to all team members in a compelling and engaging manner
- Maintain a visible daily schedule for the shop technicians to work from
- Deliver quality work to customer on time with an understanding of the Trinity brand and value of reputation
- Ensure safety expectations are clear and followed for all team members and visitors
- Build and maintain pipeline and backlog for steady throughput through the shop
- Ensure location shops and grounds are clean, organized and well maintained
- Understand and manage to the shop budget
Minimum Requirements:
- Management experience in a service shop setting, preferred
- Experience interacting with customers, ideally in an industrial or agricultural setting
- Minimum 3 years leading and managing team members
- Excellent problem-solving, organization, time management, and analytical skills
- Collaboration at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership
- Microsoft 365 literacy
- Experience with an EPR and/or CAD software is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
