WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The Regional Director of Human Resources (RDHR) directs implementation of human resource policies, programs, and procedures to ensure consistent application across the company. They oversee all human resource issues for their assigned divisions, including but not limited to conducting employee investigations, responding to EEOC charges, Department of Labor investigations incidents in collaboration with team members across Employee Services and legal counsel. They advise senior leadership, campus leadership and employees on various issues and problems related to human resources.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Investigates workplace issues/concerns including:

• Complaints of employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
• Charges filed with state and federal government agencies (e.g., State Auditors, EEOC)
• Conducts in-person and remote witness interviews
• Prepares, tracks, and maintains appropriate investigation documentation
• Drives prompt closure of open cases/concerns
• Manages employee data and statements in a highly confidential manner
• Drafts concise and clear investigation reports

• Serves as the primary human resources contact for senior and campus leadership, providing policy guidance and ensuring consistent practice within their assigned divisions.

• Advises and guides senior and campus leadership teams regarding coaching/counseling/disciplinary actions while enforcing and communicating Company policy and procedures.
• Identifies, recommends, implements and evaluates HR initiatives to ensures the Company’s compliance with state and federal employment regulations.
• Addresses compliance calls in conjunction with Divisional Leadership.
• Provides training and education at division roundtables and HR related training sessions as requested.
• Works closely with campus leaders to design and implement retention and engagement strategies.
• Provides direct support and mentorship to campus-based Employee Experience Managers by cultivating their capabilities and ensuring their success.
• Demonstrates a high-level understanding of mandatory compliance, HIPAA and state and regulatory training as required.
• Travel including overnight stays will be necessary.

Qualifications:

Process Manager Level: Requires 5-8 years’ experience and bachelor’s degree in related field.

Licenses and Certifications:

SHRM-CP, PHR, or SPHR required

Physical Requirements:

Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 20lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
