Job Duties:

• Delivery of treatment services; screening, intake, assessment; individual, group and family counseling.
• Serve as case manager for each assigned client; including development of resources for the client, acting as a liaison between the client and the referring agency representative, and maintenance of the client record.
• Develop with each assigned client an individualized treatment plan based on the needs of the client identified in the social history and assessment within time constraints allowed by licensure or contractual standards. Prepare and update treatment plan reviews within time constraints allowed by licensure or contractual standards.
• Provide discharge planning and referral services for the client and his/her family within time constraints allowed by licensure or contractual standards.
• Attend all treatment team meetings, mandated trainings and clinical staffing.
• Maintain all continuing education requirements for re-licensure or testing preparation.
• Complete progress notes, discharge summaries, and other agency reports in a manner that is in compliance with the standards of practice.
• If designated as a Qualified Credentialed Counselor, must comply with DSHSand TREATMENT ASSOCIATES'sCTI rules and regulations regarding the supervision of Counselor LCDC-I.
• Be available for on-call rotation for a period of seven days, as assigned, to handle client emergencies, referrals, or other urgent issues.
• All other duties assigned in accordance with professional performance and development.

• Minimum Job Qualifications:
• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor Degree
• Currently credentialed as a LCDC with DSHS; or has minimum qualifications to be designated as a Counselor LCDC
• Must provide authorization for a TCIC/NCIC background check, the results of which meet with any and all licensure and contractual requirements.
• Must demonstrate competence in chemical dependency treatment services; assessment, knowledge of disease and recovery processes, group, individual and family counseling skills.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a treatment team and support staff in the interest of the client population and treatment milieu.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
